Trump je z inavguracijo zbral rekordnih 170 milijonov. Večino so prispevali milijarderji, ki so si s tem kupili vstopnico za današnjo svečano slovesnost.

Udeležili so se je vsi trije najbogatejši zemljani: véliki Trumpov podpornik Elon Musk, ki ima po izračunih Forbesa pod seboj za več kot 400 milijard premoženja, pa Jeff Bezos z 293 in Mark Zuckerberg z 211 milijardami.
