Francija: protestniki nad policiste z molotovkami, enega zajel ogenj

Na sobotnih protestih v več francoskih mestih, ki se jih je po navedbah oblasti udeležilo več kot 300.000 ljudi, je policija aretirala 779 demonstrantov. Policija je v Parizu in ponekod drugod v državi uporabila solzivec in se spopadla s protestniki, pri čemer je bilo poškodovanih več policistov.

Čeprav so protesti zaradi draginje, slabih razmer v šolstvu in policijskega nasilja večinoma potekali mirno, je notranji minister Laurent Nuñez obsodil spopade med policijo in protestniki.

Po navedbah oblasti so skupine protestnikov v številnih mestih, med drugim v Parizu, Bordeauxu in Marseillu, vkorakale v mestna središča "z namenom vandalizma in plenjenja".

Molotovke in solzivec

V Parizu je več deset protestnikov v policiste metalo tlakovce, ti pa so se odzvali s solzivcem.

V spopadih so bili poškodovani štirje policisti, trije od njih so utrpeli opekline zaradi molotovk.

"Eksplozivne naprave so vrgli proti približno petnajstim žandarjem in policistom," je sporočilo tožilstvo in poudarilo, da so sprožili preiskavo zaradi poskusa umora. "V tej fazi v zvezi z incidentom še ni bil aretiran noben osumljenec," je dodalo.

Tudi v Lyonu so demonstranti metali predmete v policijo, zaradi česar so policisti uporabili solzivec.

Nuñez je opozoril na visoko raven nasilja nekaterih protestnikov in za napade na varnostne sile okrivil skrajnolevičarske ekstremistične skupine.

Francoske oblasti so ocenile, da se je protestov po državi udeležilo okoli 320.000 ljudi, od tega 70.000 v Parizu.

Protestirali so tudi v Nemčiji, kjer so zlasti v Frankfurtu postali nasilni. Nekateri so v središču mesta razbijali izložbe in ropali trgovine, napadali pa so tudi policiste.
